A: No, but my favorite novel is “The Great Gatsby.”

Q: What’s the last song you listened to?
A: “Man! I Feel Like a Woman!” by Shania Twain.

Q: What’s your favorite spot to study on campus?
A: The fountains behind Davis

Q: Most interesting place you have traveled?
A: This past summer I took a trip to Guatemala and Belize for ten days.

Q: If you could be any fictional character, who would you be and why?
A: Elsa from Frozen because she is a strong independent woman who appreciates the meaning of family.

Q: What are three things you could not live without?
A: Netflix, my dog Bailey (bae), and Dunkin Donuts’ coffee.

Q: What word or phrase do you most overuse?
A: I say the word “golden” more than I should.

Q: What makes you laugh?
A: My friends and the Internet.

Q: Who do you admire?
A: My parents and Tom Skilling.

Q: On the weekends you like to…?
A: Sleep, watch Netflix, and watch NIU football.

Q: What is your biggest pet peeve?
A: When my neighbors play their music too loud.

Q: What quality do you most admire in a classmate?
A: Being cooperative when working on group projects.

Q: What quality do you most admire in a professor?
A: Being flexible in meeting with students outside of class.

Q: What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned at NIU?
A: The biggest lesson I learned was to do things you never thought you would do before. I never thought I would join a sorority but now I am the secretary of Alpha Omega Epsilon, a professional sorority for women in science, technology, engineering and math.

Q: What was some advice a person gave you when you were young that you still hold onto today?
A: Defeat your enemies with success.

Q: What is the best part about working on campus?
A: You meet a variety of people and on occasion you get free things!

Q: What is your favorite advice to share with first year students?
A: Get involved, but don’t stretch yourself too thin.

Q: What do you want to do after NIU?
A: When I graduate I want to become a broadcast meteorologist.

Q: Where’s your favorite place to eat on or near campus?
A: Dog Pound Deli in Stevenson Resident Hall.
