Q: Are you reading anything good right now?
A: Yes, at the moment I am reading the second book in the Maze Runner series, “The Scorch Trials.” I am also listening to an audio book. It’s the third book in the legend series, “Champion.” I listen to audio books when I walk to class.

Q: What’s the last song you listened to?
A: “Wildest Dreams” by Taylor Swift.

Q: What’s your favorite spot to study on campus?
A: Probably just my room in Stevenson. I like to be in the comfort of my own room when I study.

Q: Most interesting place you have traveled?
A: This past summer my boyfriend and I traveled to Honolulu, Hawaii for a few days. We went snorkeling and hiking and just spent time on the beach.

Q: If you could be any fictional character, who would you be and why?
A: Hermione from Harry Potter because I love Harry Potter and I would love to be in that world.

Q: What are three things you could not live without?
A: My TV shows (Game of Thrones, The Flash, Teen Wolf, and Big Brother), dessert and books.

Q: What word or phrase do you most overuse?
A: “That makes no sense.”

Q: What makes you laugh?
A: Jenna Marbles YouTube videos.

Q: Who do you admire?
A: My mom <3.

Q: On the weekends you like to…?
A: Go to sporting events on campus, such as football, basketball, and volleyball.

Q: What is your biggest pet peeve?
A: When people walk through the left side door instead of the right. It makes no sense because you then run into people walking through the right side door.

Q: What quality do you most admire in a classmate?
A: Respectful.

Q: What quality do you most admire in a professor?
A: Not going past the end of class time.

Q: What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned at NIU?
A: Time management is everything.

Q: What was some advice a person gave you when you were young that you still hold onto today?
A: Who takes care of Hailee? Hailee takes care of Hailee.

Q: What is the best part about working on campus?
A: Working as a Northern Ambassador and a Community Advisor here on campus is great because I get to work with prospective and current students to make their time here at NIU the best.

Q: What is your favorite advice to share with first year students?
A: Go to the sporting events! It doesn’t cost anything extra and you get to meet new people and have a lot of fun right here on campus!

Q: What do you want to do after NIU?
A: Start my future as a Meteorologist.

Q: Where’s your favorite place to eat on or near campus?
A: Panera Bread.
